Steps to install Oracle 11g on Windows:
1. Download Oracle 11g Database Express Edition from below given link as per your windows.
2. Unzip OracleXE112 .
3. Go to “DISK1” Folder and open setup.exe.
4. Click on Next
5. Tick I Accept and click Next
6. Select installation directory and click on next.
7. Create password for database. Your default username will be SYS or SYSTEM and password will the one which u are setting now.
8. Now click on Install.
9. Now installation process will start and at end click on Finish.
Now Oracle Database 11g has been installed on your PC/Laptop.
Steps for running Oracle 11g.
1. Go to start menu -> Oracle Database 11g Express Edition -> Run SQL Commandline (a commandline window will open).
2. Now type following command
“CONNECT SYSTEM”
It will ask you for your password which we have created on startup of installation.
3. Enter your password. Now you are connected to database and can start executing your queries.
